Dearest Friends,Welcome back! A heartfelt thank you for the incredible outpouring of support you’ve shown since launching this newsletter last month. This community – focused on making a positive impact for people & planet – is quickly growing and nearing 1000 subscribers! It’s not lost on me that we’re all overwhelmed by information these days, so I take the responsibility seriously to fill your inbox with quality content.Will you do me a favor? Earlier this month I joined the Board of Aruna, an impact driven athleisure fashion brand (www.arunaproject.com). Aruna’s mission is to free and support formally trafficked women, and often their children, in India. Through holistic care, training & education, housing and employment, these women are rebuilding their lives and regaining their dignity. In addition to highlighting significant Black figures and events of the past, it’s just as important to amplify today’s inspiring Black voices in Sustainability. These individuals – the Black Future – are investing in a better future by working tirelessly to make a lasting impact for the good of people & planet!
