WELCOMING

Dearest Friends!

I trust you’re well! It’s a beautiful spring day here in the Washington, D.C. area, and I’m excited that my favorite time of year – summer – is just around the corner!

An interesting study recently released by IBM caught my eye and further proved evidence of the ESG/S transformation in business I’ve been so passionate about. IBM’s report included insights from some 3,000 CEOs on their sustainability commitments.
Three important statistics I want to share:

• Almost half of the CEOs (48%) cited sustainability as one of the highest priorities for their organization in the next two or three years, up from just a third of CEOs last year.

• More than half (51%) cited sustainability as their most significant challenge in the next two or three years, up from just 32% last year, putting it ahead of the regulation (50%), cyber (45%), and supply chain disruptions (38%).

• The CEOs said the tremendous pressure for sustainability is from board members (72%), followed by investors (57%), ecosystem partners (49%), regulators (49%), and the government (46%).

These statistics are why I devoted substantial time and resources to build an ESG/S coaching program along with my advisory services. Executive leaders and boards are feeling significant pressure to transform their businesses and/or organizations around ESG & Sustainability considerations – to design an authentic and comprehensive framework, manage it and communicate it with stakeholders. It isn’t easy to be an executive in this business environment, but it is also an excellent opportunity for leadership to use business for positive change.

For more information on my ESG/S advisory services and coaching program, please see below or reach out at jennifer@faustglobal.com. I’d love to find time to talk about how we can collaborate and tailor a program around your needs.

We’re also working on several new initiatives around the ESG/S curriculum, so stay tuned for more news in the coming weeks!

Sending all my best, always!

Warmly,

Yours,

Jennifer Faust
